Born in Kenora, Ontario and raised in Lloydminster (ON THE SASKATCHEWAN SIDE - let's make that clear), Sarah found her love for graphic design when she was just a child. She recalls walking through the mall with her mom and being in awe of the signs on the front of the stores. What was in the stores didn't much matter, just the signs. She was often found drawing with pencil and had a taste for realism.
She'd forgotten about that hidden love until 2011 when she enrolled in a community college Graphic Design course after just having her second child. She attended school full time while also working full time and being a full time single mom of two.
She was hired at a local sign shop before even completing school and then graduated with honours.
She continued to work at various sign and print shops in Lloydminster in the production and design departments before moving to Calgary in 2015. After a year there, Sarah met Randy, the love of her life, and moved to Penticton, BC.
After trying out a few different print shops there, she finally started her own business, Graphically Hip, and fell in love with entrepreneurship!
