HipTip #6: Contrasty things

Contrast is a real thing. Don’t display a prominently yellow logo on an orange background. Don’t put a prominently red logo on a green background. These are simple rules that graphic designers know about. Let your designer guide you in the right direction with all your branding and marketing materials. Of course, there are exceptions for every rule. In this case, if the look you are going for is a two-tone look, then by all means, yellow and orange are ok to use together.
