Volunteer Sign Up

Volunteers are required for the following hours and positions unless otherwise noted:

11am - 3pm

Only those volunteers selected for the event will be contacted. (We have no way of limiting number of signups)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Water: 5+ volunteers needed (11am - 1pm...end time is flexible and will depend on how many volunteers are there) - FILLED. Accepting BACKUP spots.

  • Duck collection 

  • Holding a safety line and directing any swimmers out of the area. 

  • Must have their own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard as well as life vest & other water safety equipment. 

 

Security *for insurance purposes: 2 Volunteers - FILLED. Accepting BACKUP spots.

  • Wandering around the market and ensuring everyone is being safe – walk ways are kept clear, and no hazards arise. 

 

Silent Auction: 2 Volunteers - 1 needed

  • Attending to the silent auction booth, answering questions and promoting the auction


General: 2 Volunteers - FILLED. Accepting BACKUP spots.

  • Assists with keeping Rotary park clean and free of garbage

  • Stays til the end to help clean up anything left behind once vendors are gone.


MC for event: 1 Volunteer - FILLED

  • Public speaking required. 

  • Announcing the drop, commentating, and thanking/recognizing the sponsors. 

  • Announcing when the random draws will occur and winner names for those present. 

  • Encouraging people to check out the silent auction. 

  • Reading out an impact statement about the charity and what the funds raised will be able to do. 

 

Please note: If you are applying for a BACKUP SPOT, you will only be contacted if another volunteer is unable to make it.
